This is a small fort with a large cave at its base. It is detached from the main range. It has an interesting fortification at the top in the shape of a funnel with a rocky staircase carved in the middle. This funnel is known as Kotilgad.

One has to arrive to Karjat and catch a bus going to Jamrukh. Get down at Ambivli. The road is quite big and easy to identify. After about half an hour climb we reach a village where there is a hotel. From this village a small road leads to the top and there are arrows painted for easier approach.
